Current vendors sell hardware, software licenses, and support subscriptions to carriers. Average cell towers cost $250k-$1M in the US and can cost even more to maintain over their life. The vendors' incentive is to make networks complicated and keep costs high. Carriers want to minimize their own Capex (Capital Expenditure) and Opex (Operating Expenses) while gathering subscriber revenue.

We will not be able to connect the next 3.5B+ people without a change in how vendors and carriers work together. Vendors will make sure that systems remain closed and complicated. More carrier confusion = more ability to charge for support.

Each Bentocell connects automatically to Beamlink's software called Maia. This handles Bentocell management (seeing the status of each device and network optimization). On top, Maia provides billing tools and SIM/eSIM management.
Usually permanence and adaptability don't go hand in hand, but that's how we got to todays issues in the telecom industry. Carriers won't see ROI from covering the next 3.5 Billion people with typical convoluted equipment. New solutions must be adaptable enough for any environment and need minimal setup requirements. But cell sites are critical infrastructure, they also have to be insanely reliable once installed. It would also be nice to be able to upgrade them (say from 4G to 5G) without ripping out and replacing expensive hardware.
We call this balance permanent adaptability.
